That’s the kind of thing customers repeatedly say about Joe Fritz. You could almost say HVAC is in his blood since his dad got him involved in the business when Joe was just out of high school. Joe also spent some time doing cabinetwork with his brother but found the work tedious, so his dad brought him back to HVAC.
It was the first week of July—so hot!—and Joe worked 80 hours that first week. Was this what he really wanted to do?
“I’m good at it,” Joe says. He has been an HVAC professional for nearly 30 years now. He likes the change of seasons that keeps his work interesting. Even more, he likes the people he meets as customers.
Family Owned in Farmington
Joe branched out to start his own company, Fritz Mechanical, in 2016. But it’s still a family business. His dad is semi retired but keeps his hand in, and there are three technicians besides Joe. Still, he keeps his company small so he can continue to personally help customers with sales and service.
“This is an ever-changing field,” Joe notes, “with new products and services to learn about.” Evolving choices allow him to help customers choose exactly the right furnace, AC, and indoor air quality products for their needs and budget. Customers appreciate Joe’s knowledge and honest advice.
They also appreciate his fairness. Everyone knows just how critical heating and AC are here in Minnesota, so when things go wrong, Fritz Mechanical responds quickly and does not overcharge for emergency service.
